Jowanna Butler Little Jowanna was just 4 weeks old and weighed 6 lbs. when she was allegedly beat to death by her father. She had severe head injuries, broken ribs and broken legs. Officials said that she had been stuck 10 times. Her father admitted that he had struck little Jowanna with his fist. Dennis James Butler, 24 years old has been charged with first degree murder, and is being held without bail.
