Tonya Gross Daniels New York Little Tonya was just 5 years old and weighed 23 pounds when she died. Her mother starved her to death. At the time of her death there was other signs of abuse, such as cockroach bites to her arms and legs. Tonya also suffered from cerebral palsy, and at the time of her death there was no sign of the prescribed anti seizure medication that she was suppose to be given. Gloria Gross, 39 years old was found guilty of second degree manslaughter. She could receive 5 to 15 years in prison when she is sentenced.
